Please be on the look-out for the May issue of Washingtonian magazine, in your mail box or at the news stand (or every doctor's office in the area). It has a 2500 word excerpt from "Innocent Spouse," the chapter my editor and I call "the morning of the lawyers." Thank you to Garrett Graff, Washingtonian's editor, who arranged to buy exclusive second rights after Vogue. Washingtonian is my hometown magazine and it means a lot to be in its pages.
The photo of Howard and me was shot in March 1989 on his 50th birthday. There's a photo of me (wearing at least 3 layers of make-up) that was taken at Nathans by David Hume Kennerly in March 2006. Also, there are a couple of photos of the exterior of the Nathans building, one from several years ago and one from now. When there is an online link available I will post it.
