With Florida in the news, as Hurricane Sandy bears down, I have another kind of Florida in mind ... the Florida bounty that is stone crab claws. Tis the season. Cannons Seafood in Georgetown this week got a shipment of fresh, not frozen, claws. I picked up a couple, brought them home, made mustard sauce, and pretended my dining room was Joe's Stone Crab. If only! It was a little bit of Florida, but missed the Ocean outside my door. The price is $32.90 a pound.

Fresh Stone Crab Claws at Cannons
With Florida in the news, as Hurricane Sandy bears down, I have another kind of Florida in mind ... the Florida bounty that is stone crab claws. Tis the season.
