FRESH OFF THE PRESSES, FIRST EDITION NO. 1
My first copy of "Innocent Spouse" arrived today, fresh off the presses from somewhere up in New England. What does one say? All I could do was stare at it, thumb the pages and take its picture to share with all of you. Yes, an amazing moment. It takes so long to get to this point that it's tough to feel the way I thought I'd feel (carthwheels and all that), but I feel something special just the same. With it was a beautiful letter from my editor, Suzanne O'Neill, which will be framed.
It will be in bookstores May 10, or you can order right now at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Borders, Indie Bound, or your local bookstore. Please pre-order! Thank you.
TAKING THE BOOK ROUND THE 'HOOD, INTRODUCING IT TO FRIENDS (with Henry)
...WITH HENRY'S "MOM," MYRA MOFFETT
LATER: Took the book out to dinner with my son. We sat in a booth at The Tombs, with the book on the table. I bought it a drink, gave it a toast. Then walked it around the 'hood, introduced it to some friends. Now I'm taking it to bed. zzzzzzzzzz
Congrats!! Painful to live through it all..but a published trophy. Enjoy!!! and a Happy Easter to you, too!!!
