New York Book Party For "Innocent Spouse"

My editors at NYSD, David Patrick Columbia and Jeff Hirsch, along with The manager of The Plaza Hotel, Shane Krige, last night hosted my NY book party in The Palm Court. There were 200 people, most I didn't know but surely recognized from NYSD. Sold out of books. A lot of fun. Jill Krementz photographed and reported on the party today here.

I saw you on Willis but didn't hear what you did with 10 years left on Nathans' lease. I walked by it on many Friday nights. Your husband had some very unsavory friends. They'd post themselves out front at night to keep from people they thought might be law. Some of them went to fed pens, or got worse. I wanted to add this for you but also learn what you did for the 10 years.

THE Q&A CAFE

The Q&A Cafe is now in its 21st year. We launched in October 2001 at Nathans in Georgetown as a response to the September 11 terror attacks, and from that initial purpose grew into a weekly community interview lunch, the first "talk show in a bar." When Nathans closed in 2009 we moved to the Ritz Carlton Hotel and since 2015 our home has been The George Town Club.
