I would turn Doc Dalinsky's old drugstore into a living, breathing Pharmacy Museum, complete with lunch counter and live pharmacists who remember your name. And I would convert the old Georgetown Theatre back into a movie house, run by the AFI showing classic movies like "Lawrence of Arabia," "On the Waterfront," "East of Eden," "Giant," "Shane," "From Here to Eternity," and "Elmer Gantry," so young people can see what real movie making is all about.
And I would bring back Little Caledonia and Neam's Market and Meenehan's Hardware.
And I would ban all chain stores...except for a rebirth of Britches of Georgetown.
