FBI Investigate Heist at New Georgetown M&T Bank

THE SCENE OUTSIDE THE GEORGETOWN M&T BANK AT 7:30 AM FRIDAY

Presumably no one was hurt, because presumably no one was there, but it appears the brand spanking new Georgetown M&T Bank was robbed during the night, or at least an attempt was made. That was the word on the street at 7:10 am, as passersby watched FBI and MPD swarm the taped off block at Wisconsin and O. The bank just opened in the building that formerly was Commander Salamander. It's also next door to two buildings that partially collapsed in a gas leak explosion last Thanksgiving. More info as available...
