Jack's Boathouse Owner Says Wed. Meeting w/ NPS was "Not Productive."

We reported earlier today on Washingtonian.com on a meeting scheduled for this afternoon between Jack's Boathouse owner Paul Simkin and officials from the National Park Service to discuss the eviction notice they handed to him on Christmas Eve. Here's the earlier story: Jack's Boathouse Lease

After the meeting, Simkin described it as "not productive." He said NPS told him the only reason for the meeting was because of his request for it and that beyond that, "they had nothing to add or to say." Simkin said he would be following up with a lawyer to learn about and to pursue his legal rights.
