A first dinner tonight at La Piquette in Cleveland Park. A score with each course! Certainly that's the story of what we ate: Wianno oysters, house salad, lobster risotto, steak frites, and a cheese plate followed by meringue with berries and cream. I know, the salad was in the wrong order, but it worked ... in an American way. The room was packed, the patrons majority local, with their actual spouses, and the vibe lively. I saw a lot of friends. There will be more from me about Piquette on washingtonian.com soon.
