A Night Out with The Washington Kastles

We stopped by the Washington Kastles tennis match tonight. Because of the southwest waterfront development the annual summer matches moved indoors to the Smith Center at George Washington University. Tonight's competition were the Boston Lobsters. Spotted in the audience: former DC mayor Adrian Fenty, there will his son and other family members. There are still two more nights of matches, including the championship on Thursday. Tickets are here.

THE Q&A CAFE

The Q&A Cafe is now in its 21st year. We launched in October 2001 at Nathans in Georgetown as a response to the September 11 terror attacks, and from that initial purpose grew into a weekly community interview lunch, the first "talk show in a bar." When Nathans closed in 2009 we moved to the Ritz Carlton Hotel and since 2015 our home has been The George Town Club.
